On May 19, 2023 at 7 PM, speaker Bill Thompson will speak to the history of Nelles Manor (built 1788 – 1798), the Nelles family and the role they played in the community. He’ll also speak to the celebration of 225 years coming this June.
About our speaker: Bill Thompson is a long-time Niagara heritage advocate who is currently very active at Nelles Manor Museum as a board member, treasurer and all round volunteer. Bill was honoured in 2022 with the Lieutenant Governor’s Ontario Heritage Award for Lifetime Achievement. Bill is also active on a number of other local heritage and hospital committees and boards.
